About the Principal : Prof.
Y.Ranga Reddy, Principal of Vidhya Bharathi Institute of Technology is a
leading academician. He is a post graduate in physics in 1975 from
Osmania University,and obtained his Ph.D degree in 1980 with a
fellowship of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research from
Kakatiya University,warangal .A part of his Ph.D work is done at
IIT,Kharagpur.He began his academic career as a lecturer in 1978. He has
32 years of teaching and research experience including one year as a
professor of Physics at UK, and two years at Eritrea (North-East
Africa).
He
was actively engaged in Teaching, Research, Institutional building and
academic administration. He has published more than 30 research papers
in national and international journals in the fields of Dielectrics,
Bio-Dielectrics, Crystal Growth, Defects and dislocations, Hardness and
environmental hazards.
Widely
traveled, Prof.Y.R.Reddy has presented papers and given invited
Lectures, in various National and International conferences, in a large
number of Universities and institutions in India, UK, Eritrea
(North-East Africa) and Australia.
He
authors number of Text Books for Education departments of Government of
Andhra-Pradesh, India and Government of Eritrea, North east Africa.
He
worked as H.O.D for 32 years in Government Colleges, Member of Board of
Studies, Kakatiya University, Member of Institute of Physics (London),
and a Member of Dielectric group, India. He is a referee for various
research journals.
